小野俊丸型蓋物白珠釉 L

神奈川県小田原市で作陶されている小野俊さんの作品をご紹介させていただきます。
小野さんはアパレルブランドやデザイン事務所での勤務を経て、北海道札幌市の陶芸家・橋本忍氏に師事。
その後東京都にて独立されました。

オリジナルで調合された「白珠釉」と「黒鉄釉」の2種類の釉薬を主に使用され、シンプルな作風の中に控えめな表情が見える、きっと使うほどに新たな発見があり、愛着が湧いてくるであろう作品です。
そこにはこれまでの経歴の中で培われたファッション的な感性を見出すことができ、それも装飾的でなく潔いつくりで飽きがこない、時代の流行によって左右されない上質な衣服のような器、という印象を受けます。

白珠釉は料理を主役とした、使い勝手のいい色味と質感。
黒鉄釉は鉄器のような少しザラついた風合い。

ご自身の原点と語られている「蓋物」は、蓋を開ける時に何が入っているんだろうとワクワクする気持ちを想像できる作品。
保存・保管がしやすいようスタッキングができるほか、器と蓋の部分をそれぞれ小鉢、小皿としてもお使いいただける、実用的なデザインになっています。
