MA STOREは日本が元来より培ってきた美意識とコンテンポラリーデザインを組み合わせることで生まれた
”現代民藝（contemporary folk arts and crafts）”を取り揃えるセレクトストアです。

人々の暮らしとともにあった生活のための道具。
それらの持つ歴史や機能を受け継ぎ、現代のライフスタイルに寄り添える姿に更新していくこと。
今を生きる作り手たちによって生み出されるそんな作品を丁寧に伝え
未来へ向けて遺していくことを目指しています。

適切な材料を用い、優れた技術と感性によって健やかにデザインされた現代の民藝品が実際に使われ
暮らしを交える道具となることを願っています。

We rethink the Japanese sense of beauty and create made-in-Japan products together with artists.

Tools for daily life that have always been with people.
We take over the history and functions of these tools and update them to suit modern lifestyles.
Our goal is to carefully convey the works produced by makers who live in the present, and to bequeath them to the future.

We hope that contemporary folk arts and crafts, designed with appropriate materials, excellent techniques, and sensitivity, will be used and become tools for daily life.
