”いびつ”な個性でテーブルを彩る、吹きガラスで制作されたユニークピース

〈IBITSU GLASS CLUB〉大阪を拠点に2023年より活動し、吹きガラスの技法を用いてキッチンウェアやインテリアなどを制作されています。

形状としてはごくシンプルなデザインでありながら、ひとつひとつに”いびつさ”という個性を持っているのが特徴で、偶然のゆらぎや気泡、アンバランスをおおらかに受け入れることで一層の愛らしさが感じられる作品です。

洗練されたフォルムや個体差の少ない均一な作品が魅力的であることはもちろんですが、同時に不完全でいびつ、個性豊かな存在にどうしようもなく惹かれてしまう感情はけして無視できないもの。
そして、いびつなかたちであったとしても最低限の実用性を保つことのできるガラスという素材の懐の深さを改めて感じます。
