豊かな曲線とカラーリングに彩られた木製オブジェ

2026年2月に開催された木工作家の松澤諒個展"COLORS"でお披露目された新作。
活動の初期から制作されている『Totem』という名前がついたオブジェから発展し、フォルムをより自由に、そして彩りのあるカラーリングが加わることで表現の幅が大きく広がりました。

Totemからは、連なるフォルムの中に木の個性を数多く見つけることができます。
その個性が見えるように前面にして置いてみたり、逆に静かな木目の向きに置いたり。
あるいは手に持ってみて、無垢材ならではの質量や手ざわりを味わってみたり。

無機質な規格材に囲まれた暮らしになってしまうことが多い昨今に、自然物を削ることで生まれたTotemを手に取る方だけが、五感を使って作品となった木の、生の痕跡を感じることができます。

Totemは映画〈インセプション〉に登場する、「自分しか知らない質感の、夢か現実かを確認するための道具」から名づけつけられました。
